Impossible Robotics returns to the FIRST Global Challenge

We are pleased to announce that we will be representing The Netherlands in the second edition of the FIRST Global Challenge. Last year we participated in the first edition and it was an absolutely amazing experience. We are really excited to participate again and we will be looking to improve on our previous performance.

The FIRST Global Challenge is an annual robotics olympics. Last year the competition was held in Washinton D.C. and 157 countries were represented. If you want more information about the FGC, you can click here.

This year the competition will be in Mexico city on august 15-18. The new game is called Energy impact. During the game, you have 2:30 minutes to generate energy for your alliance. You can find more information about the game here.

We received our robot kit a while ago and started building our robot today. We talked about our strategies and priorities for the robot and made a good start with the construction. Right now we are working on both our drive train and our cube intake.

We will continue to give updates on our progression and when our robot is finished we will make a page about how we designed it. We would like to wish all the other teams a lot of succes and we are looking forward to meeting you.
